Visitors to the study
facilities have access to the Museum's collection of around
60,000 examples of dress, accessories and textiles, dating from the
17th century through to the present day.
Visitors are able to book a study table to look at a
selection of objects from the museum collection or books on the
history of dress, including exhibition catalogues, pamphlets and
journals.
Study tables can be booked on a Thursday or Friday for a morning
and/or afternoon session. A morning session lasts from 1100 - 1300
and an afternoon session from 1400 - 1600. We can tailor-make
sessions according to your needs.
This service is included in the cost of admission to the Fashion
Museum, but must be booked in advance. We welcome donations.
